About

Where am I?, and where I'm going?

I am an undergraduate Architecture student at the University of Manchester, originally from South East England, with over seven years of self-taught experience in the arts. My work ranges from funny expressive creature caricatures, studies of the human figure to precise technical drawings. Having initially studied Biochemistry, I chose to transition into Architecture to pursue creativity as a career rather than a hobby, allowing me to merge my artistic background with my technical interests. While I primarily work in pencil and pen, I have also explored a variety of mixed media, and recently developing a passion for film photography. I use the name Oetzmann—from my mother’s side of the family—as a homage to a name and heritage that continue to inspire me. With bold ambitions to become a leading architect, I am driven to create work that bridges artistic expression with technical excellence and embodies my passion for politics and the representation of the youth in modern society.
